Ferrari wanna-be, not the very cool sports car that it already is in its own right. The Nissan designers spent their time designing taillights that integrated well with the design of the rest of the car. Look at your car from the back; do you see any other circular body shapes? No; it's all short and wide. Just like the stock taillights are.
But that's just my opinion; do what you have to to be different.
